Michelle and her team are fantastic and I could not have imagined doing my wedding this past December without them. Michelle was recommended to me by my venue, the Central Park Boathouse, and it is easy to see why. She knows the venue inside and out and she is a seasoned planner. Although I only hired her as a “month of” planner, we were in frequent contact for months leading up to the wedding and I always found her to be very responsive. Michelle and her team really shone on the actual big day, however, making sure that the day went as smoothly as possible. I highly recommend Michelle and her entire team!
Michelle of Pink Monkey Events and her employees were a huge, huge help in making my wedding day perfect. She did not once steer me wrong with vendors, decor ideas, you-name-it. She made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible the day of, and she handled all the the big and small “disasters” that cropped up so that I didn’t have to. Hire her; you won’t be disappointed.

Michelle and her team did a fabulous job of ensuring that our wedding day (and rehearsal) went perfectly smoothly. Michelle recommended vendors for us to talk to, and we ended up using most of her recommendations and were thrilled with them! When we met a couple of days before the wedding for a final meeting, Michelle pointed out a couple of last minute things that we had forgotten. Instead of adding them to our to-do list, Michelle and her team got to work and got it all done! We had lots of moving parts for the wedding, and Michelle made sure that we never felt the stress of keeping everything coordinated during the night (which I’m sure was no small feat!). We were able to enjoy every second of our wedding with our families and friends and trusted all of the ‘day of’ details to Michelle. She is an asset to any event!

I have to say that Michelle was the best money spent on my wedding. She was so helpful and really kept your mind at ease. I didn’t worry about a thing and she thought of everything that I did not. It was a pleasure working with her. She was extremely reliable and trustworthy. I valued her opionion and her ideas. The day of is very stressful and she does not allow you to stress at all from beginning to end. All of my girls thought I was on drugs of some sort LOL!!

Everything seemed to go really well – I know from a presenting point of view it was the best venue (and the easiest in terms of having the monitor and wireless remove to turn the slides) – and I thought the dinner and the casino night were great.

My husband and I got married in June and people are still talking about our wedding thanks to Michelle and her crew at Pink Monkey Events. My husband and I were referred to Pink Monkey events from a friend of mine who worked with her for her wedding. From our first meeting with Michelle, we knew that this was a good match for us in our planning process. She is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. She knew what questions to ask, how to make us feel comfortable, and how to make our vision a reality come our wedding day. We found the process of finding the right vendors for us very easy. Often we went with the first vendor we met with because Michelle was very in tune with our interests and personalities that would be a good match. And every decision we made was exactly what we were looking for. On the day of our wedding, August 2, 2013, our decision to work with Pink Monkey Events was even further justified. We felt very little pressure and anxiety with the help of Michelle and her associates. They were in control of everything, helped in our planning and scheduling, and were with us the whole way through. Not to mention they helped us with a couple of issues, such as a zipper disaster and a near fainting incident!!! Given all of this, we truly believe that this was well worth the investment, at a reasonable price, and one that we would definitely recommend to others. We continue to get compliments about how wonderful our wedding day was from our friends and family. Michelle and Pink Monkey events did a great job throughout the year planning and on the day of the wedding and we truly appreciate all of their efforts.
Awesome with a side of Amazing…
It was certainly a pleasure to work with Michelle and her team. Michelle is extremely knowledgeable and her team was great. She really helped us think through our wedding theme (vintage travel). Additionally, she put us in touch with some great vendors. Our invitations were nothing short of AMAZING. The invitations required quite a bit of work- putting them together, creating labels and mailing boxes. She did it all! I simply didn’t have time to work on the invitations myself- but they turned out beautifully. She went to all of the important vendor meetings and found ways to save us money. She found a great place for our rehearsal dinner. We had a unique wedding rehearsal that involved a traditional Ghanaian theme- so it was great that she found a place that we could have to ourselves. She was great on the day of the wedding. One of my bridesmaids had a dress catastrophe. She literally sewed her into the dress. The day flowed smoothly and things went really well. There was one problem with the transportation- but it wasn’t her fault. The limo bus that we rented had some sort of malfunction, but replacement transportation was arranged without me knowing that there had been a problem. Overall, I think she was great. Things were organized and the day was truly perfect. My grandmother even commented on how amazing she was, and my grandma is one tough cookie to please. In short there were a few minor hiccups but nothing that I can honestly complain about. She’s great at what she does. Overall, I think Pink Monkey is a great choice.
